Within the framework of community participation and cooperation between the Higher Institute of Tourism and Hospitality in Al-Baha and the branch of the General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage in Al-Baha.
A specialized workshop was organized which brought together the owners of the tourist accommodation and restaurants, the Human Resources Development Fund, a goal in Al-Baha area, Taqat center and some trainees specialized in the hospitality and hotels sector to identify ways to improve the quality of services in the tourist accommodation facilities and ways of dealing with the visitor. The discussion dealt with the development of mechanisms in line with the aims of the visitor and tourist to the area of Al-Baha. This workshop, which was held at the Higher Institute of Tourism and Hospitality in cooperation with the General Authority for Tourism and Hospitality in the Baha region is one of the most prominent initiatives to serve and qualify the tourism facilities and services provided in the region. During the workshop, it was emphasized on the plans put forward to raise the quality of hotel and tourism services with the owners of the relationship and owners of tourist and hotel shelters.
The workshop resulted in the necessity of activating the procedures to improve the quality of services provided to the visitor and tourists in the front offices, hotel facilities and residential units licensed by the Tourism Authority and to identify the most important figures and projects for the upcoming tourism sector and the State’s efforts and support in this aspect, including training on techniques and skills to deal with the visitor.
