A cooperation agreement between Nesma Trading Company and the Higher Institute of Tourism and Hospitality has been signed in the former’s headquarters in Al-Khobar City. The agreement aims at working within a framework of strategic partnership for training 65 young Saudis.
In virtue of the agreement, candidates will have their training on different fields of hospitality like food service industries, food production and supervision in general.
Mr. Ali Al-Qahtani, the general manager of the Higher Institute of Tourism and Hospitality has stated that the agreement is part of the national project of the Human Resources Development Fund known as “training ending with employment”. Mr. Al-Qahtani has added that the institute provides various significant training and developing activities for the benefit of the service, production and the business sectors in the Kingdom, stating that such activities are meant to qualify and develop the skills of the national workforce in order to meet the Kingdom’s policies of localizing jobs.
Mr. Al-Qahtani has also mentioned that the agreement is part of a series of training and practical programs provided by the institute directed towards the Saudi youths.
For his part, Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Delejan, the general director of human resources at Nesma Trading Company, has revealed that there is a great interest from the company’s side to contribute in providing large numbers of job opportunities to the Saudi youths through localizing some jobs in the service sector so as to rely on qualified national cadres.
Mr. Al-Delejan has expressed hope that signing this agreement would be a great step for the youth of the country to acquire the best skills and the highest standards in the field of hospitality.
