The Higher Institute of Tourism and Hospitality – Jazan (HITH) held the graduation ceremony of the first batch of 27 diploma graduates in the Hotel Management specialization. The ceremony was under the patronage of the Director General of the Technical and Vocational Training in Jazan region, Mr. Fawzi Radwan, in the presence of some of the heads of centers and government departments in Jazan region and a number trainees’ parents.
The general manager of the HITH-Jazan, Mr. Ali bin Jaber, delivered a speech welcoming the participants and the audience. He also congratulated the trainees for this great achievement and called on them to continue the path of work and progress.
Mr. Jaber also assured the institute’s pioneering role in the tourism and hospitality field which aims towards fulfilling the 2030 Vision in terms of localizing jobs in the tourism and hospitality sector in partnership with the government sector represented by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) and the National Center for Strategic Partnerships.
At the end of his speech, Mr. Bin Jaber thanked the wise leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, his Royal Majesty King Salman bin Abdul Aziz – may Allah protect him, and the Crown Prince for the unlimited support in the field of education and training all over the kingdom.
For his part, Mr. Radwan delivered a speech in which he expressed his pleasure to participate in the graduation of the trainees congratulating them on this occasion saying, “ on this blessed day, we must remember with appreciation and respect the important and vital role played by the Higher Institute of Tourism and Hospitality in preparing and qualifying the Saudi youth to suit the needs of the labor market in the tourism and hotel sector in the kingdom”, stressing the great benefits that will be reflected on the economy. At the end of his speech, Radwan expressed his thankfulness and appreciation to the HITH, represented by the general manager and the members of the administrative and training staff for their efforts in preparing and qualifying the Saudi youth.
The audience, afterwards, listened to the speech of the graduates delivered on their behalf by trainee: Khaled Al-Asmari, in which he expressed the pleasure and gratitude of the graduates to the sponsor of the ceremony. He also expressed his thankfulness and appreciation to the HITH in general and the trainers in particular for their efforts to achieve this noble goal.
At the end of the ceremony, the Institute General Manager handed over the shield of the institute to the patron of the ceremony who took some commemorative photos with the graduates.
