This is very important because the curriculum we select, and the quality of how you implement that curriculum, affects the quality of care for those infants and toddlers. Research based and child focused, the High Scope Infant-Toddler Curriculum uses a carefully designed process of learning through discovery, called active participatory learning. During active learning, caregivers encourage infants and toddlers to discover the world around them by exploring and playing. Learning and development are anchored by long-term, trusting relationships with teachers, who are close at hand to support children as they play.

0-12 Months:

Our program is designed to foster the daily development of the bodies and minds of infants. When your little one starts the learning journey, we collaborate with parents to make the transition a smooth and joyful experience. We believe this is essential in establishing a strong relationship and a setting that feels like family and home.

1-2 Years Old:

When toddlers start to move around, they’re discovering their surroundings. Our program provides an environment so that toddlers learn and freely explore in a safe and loving place. The activities for this age group are built around toddlers’ boundless curiosity and their natural desire to push limits.

2-3 Years Old:

As toddlers are discovering more and more about their world, we begin to provide them with the foundational tools to better understand what that all means. We do so by combining the use of art, music, movement, science and imagination. This prepares them as they advance towards nursery school, ensuring they are successful as the program adjusts to each individual student’s needs.

3-5 Years Old:

Children explore science experiments, create artwork, play characters and engage in movement games. In this way they learn following directions and other key skills for learning success. Each day is packed with carefully designed activities structured around the six main development areas.
